The Cape Cod Bed captures the essence of a quaint seaside town. The headboard and footboard resemble a wood-framed fence. The four posts, are tall on the headboard and low on the footboard, measuring 5'' square at the widest point, and look exactly like fence posts. These are topped with round 4 ¼'' finials to complete the illusion. A tall inset of wood slats gives the bed a clean, cottage-like appearance.
